MLTAV Professional learning Webinar series: "The MLTAV was pleased to be supported by the Victorian Department of Education to develop an eBook to support Blended learning in languages education. This free resource provides teachers with step-by-step instructions on how to use a broad range of ICT Tools and Resources for the languages classroom. MLTAV has also run a series of webinars to support teachers in the use of ICT in the languages classroom." This is all free to access.
The CLIL4U MOOC project project "has during the EC co-funded period produced materials that will assist implementation of CLIL in primary schools and in vocational colleges through 6 promotional videos showing CLIL used in classes; 48 ready to use CLIL scenarios complete with instructions and materials; an online collection of materials and commented links to resources; advisory materials to be used for including parents of primary school children in the CLIL process."
Dyslexia and Foreign language teaching (University of Lancaster): "This free online course is designed for current and trainee teachers of additional languages. It offers you practical tools, as well as theoretical insights, to best accommodate and meet the needs of students with dyslexia in foreign or second language classes."
"The purpose of the Patji Dawes Award is to honour outstanding achievements in language teaching by an accomplished practitioner in Australia. The teaching may take place in any setting (...) Nominations are made by someone who has achieved a very high level of fluency in their chosen language and would like to honour their teacher".
The Australian Linguistic Society "offers four Prizes and Scholarships to support linguistics research students: the Gerhardt Laves Scholarship, which covers fieldwork expenses for postgraduate researchers in indigenous languages of Australia or its immediate region; the Susan Kaldor Scholarship, to support ALS student members to attend an international summer school or institute; the Michael Clyne Prize, for the best postgraduate research thesis in immigrant bilingualism and language contact, and the Jalwang Scholarship, which supports linguists to give back to the community by converting some of their research into materials of benefit to the language speakers."
The Professor Michael Clyne Memorial Study Scholarship aims "to assist a teacher of LOTE/Languages to support further formal academic study relating to her/his teaching of LOTE/Languages in Victoria." It is awarded biennially and worth $1000.
The E K Horwood Memorial Travel Scholarship aims "to assist a Victorian Languages teacher or Languages teacher educator with expenses associated with gaining in-country experience in the language and culture of a country whose Language(s) forms a part of their regular work. Adult students currently enrolled in a Languages teacher-training course are also eligible to apply, provided they meet all other criteria." It is awarded biennially and worth $1000.
The Goethe-Institut "offers a range of scholarships for a stay in Germany. They are intended for current and future teachers of German, as well as persons in key position in the education sector, and include language courses and a diverse seminar program at the Goethe-Institut in Germany."

Language Launchpad is an initiative of Global Graduates. It features videos that "have been created through our partnership with The European Commission in order to interview UK language graduates and discover how their language skills have benefitted their careers."
